You have to look after all the day to day running of this business as well as keeping on top of all things social 🙈 There's Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, and so many other platforms not to mention ones that will inevitably appear next year! So how are you supposed to keep up with all of these platforms? It's a full-time job in itself! 😳 Go where your ideal customer is. I help people navigate Instagram so my ideal customer is most likely on Instagram and struggling with the platform. If your audience is of an older demographic, Facebook might be a good place to focus. If it's young people and you have lots of video content to share, perhaps you should head to Tik Tok? Focus on where your customer is and don't feel pressured to be on every single platform. I'm a social media manager and I don't even have a Twitter page, it's not the end of the world 😅 Top Tip: Repurpose your content for the platforms that you are using and save some extra time! One of my goals for 2021 is to make more time for reading. Right now I go through phases of reading everyday and then not picking up a book for 2 months. I'm almost finished 'The 5AM Club' by Robin Sharma and I have 'Start with Why' by Simon Sinek lined up and ready to go ✨ I was reading on Sunday (in an attempt to not have my average screen time higher than 10 hours last week, #IYKYK) and I came across this quote in the book and I just love it. You will never know everything so if you're afraid of failure you just need to accept that it is inevitable and just start anyway 🙌 I have learned so much in the last 8 months of business that I probably wouldn't have learned had I not started.
